I have safely arrived in Poland and am typing this in my temporary hotel room. The city is nice, and the hotel room, while not large, has everything I need. My agent’s partner, Greg, says I should be in an apartment by the beginning of September. Unfortunately, during the long trip one of my bags was misplaced. Judging by the reactions of the staff and Greg, this seems to be a commonplace thing at the airport. They seemed confident my bag would be here in a day or so. Once my bag arrives we will be in full swing!

I have been up since 3 AM local time due to jet lag, but am not feeling too bad. Today, I will meet with the head coach of my team, Spojnia Stargard and hopefully practice with them in the afternoon. First impressions are everything so I am hoping to do well and not look to worn out from the long travel.

I will be getting a small android phone soon so that I can whatsApp with my family and friends so that I can be in touch at all times!
